Prefect Contour Bronzers

Hi beauty bloggers. I wanted to discuss bronzers. I love to contour my face. I always seem to be attracted to a matte bronzer. These are the bronzers in my collection that the reach for the most. I will list them below as swatched:

1. MAC MFS Give Me Sun
2. Maybelline Dream Sun Warm Tan
3. Benefit Hoola
4. Bare Minerals The High Drive
5. Loreal True Match Cocoa
6. NYC Sunny 

They're all easy to work with very blend able. All are warm tone bronzers, except Benefits Hoola is more of a cool tone shade. In my option the MAC Give me sun and Benefit Hoola are the more natural looking ones in my collection. But, that's because I have six to choose from. They are all similar in color. If you wanted to "dupe" MAC Give me Sun it would be NYC Sunny. If you want to "dupe" Benefit Hoola bronzer it would be Maybelline Dream Sun Warm Tan is very similar. Hope this post was useful.

FALL/WINTER BLUSHES

Hi fellow beauty bloggers. Today I wanted to mention tan, mauve, dust rose blushes. I love this color on my cheeks for fall. My skin is light-to light medium. I think this color is very complementing. Its a shuttle flush to the cheeks, a very natural look. These are my go to blushes for the season. They are very similar to one other. I switched them side by side. They are all buildable, and very blend able for more color.

My Best Cream Blushes

Hi beauty bloggers. Seasons are changing soon, which means the weather will be changing as well. When the temps start to cool down, I like to use cream blushes if my skin feels and bit drier. I do tend to layer cream with a hint of powder blush because I have oily skin and I don't want it slipping off. Since I don't wear cream blushes that often, I don't want to invest a lot of money in these types of products. Here's some cream blushes that are very affordable and highly pigmented.

What's your Skin Tone?

Hi. This is beautyundergrad with a Tip of the day. This video is to help find out your skin tone, if you are like me it was not so easy to determine because you fall between both, warm tone and cool tone. I had to actually alter my look to fit in one or the other. The nice thing is that you can be both with a few adjustments. Hope this is useful.

Mariposa Pallette Brown Eye Palette

Hi beauty friends. I am featuring the Urban Decay Mariposa Palette. Its an oldie but a goodie. This is a "brown eyed" palette. The colors are all complimenting to brown eyes.  I recently seen many of these on eBay for less then $15.00 amazing deal. This palette is a semi 'shimmer palette. Colors are all very pigmented. We all know the quality of Urban Decay's eyeshadows are fantistic and this palette has most of there top sellers in one palette. Happy hunting, worth every penny!

MSF Seamless Skin Alternatives

I like to use MAC MFS to set my foundation to get a glowing, seamless look. I love the MAC MSF for that effect its great. But if you don't own it, or your a beauty on a budget here's two alternatives I found. The swatches are in this order.

Perfect Matte Palette for Autumn and Fall

This eye shadow palette is the Kat Von D "Ladybird". It is the prefect palette for autumn and fall. I think this is a must  have in your collection. So pigmented, all "matte" colors and so versatile. The possibilities are endless with this palette. I purchased it at Sephora for $36.00.

NYX MATTE BRONZER

I purchased NYX Matte Bronzer in Light for a natural contour look. I found it to be good for winter, but not in summer when I am a little tanner. I purchased the Medium and thought it could be just a bit darker, so then I purchase the Dark. Now that I have all 3 shades I decided to use Light for winter, Medium for Spring, and Dark for Summer. My recommendation is if you have light -medium skin tone just purchase Medium it will work best. Dark is not dark enough for dark skin. As seen in my swatch then are all very similar.

I really like this Victoria's Secret "Naked" palette of nude eye shadows. Similar to Urban Decay palette but half the price. Cool Tone browns, like taupe, sand, grey, beige, charcoal, black etc. The palette comes with step by step instructions on how to get the Victoria Secret Smokey Eye Look. This is a great palette to have in your collection.

Origami Owl Necklace

Hi this is beautyundergrad with a piece of jewelry that is very unique. So the concept behind this is you basically design it yourself. You pick the necklace type, color, and length. Then you pick your center piece also type, color and size (so many to choose from). After that you pick and choose your charms (tons to choose from) order took about one week to receive. It came in this fortune cookie jewelry box and the cookie came stuffed in the "Chinese food take out" box. My charms are:

At Home Laser Hair Removal

This review is on the Tria Laser Hair Removal. I've had this machine for over a year now. I have found this machine to be effective to a curtain extent. Direction say only use on, dark hair,  light-medium skin tone, not on your face, and you must shave the area first. So, when I started this process, I thought it would to be a quick solution to my "hairy" problem. Well it wasn't. I'm still using it a year later. I started the laser on my arms first, and thought I'd work my way down. Needless to say I'm still working on my arms. I "zap" once every two weeks. I have patches of hair, but the hair is fine, lighter and very sparse. I still can't tolerate I highest setting it hurts me. There's six settings. I'm at 4 or 5 on a good day. It hurts like a epilator. So bottom line Is it worth the money. NO.

Absolute Full Coverage Foundation and Concealer

I have tried many foundations and concealers for full coverage, from drug store to high end. The best liquid foundation and concealer combination for absolute full coverage is Kat Von D lock-it longwear foundation and the lock-it concealer. The most comparable is the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I found the doublewear formula difficult to blend. But that's definitely not the case with the Kat Von D foundation. With this combo there is no blemish, scar, sun spot, age spot, redness, veins that it won't cover for a flawless look. Prefect for photo's too. The concealer was made to even cover tattoos.  I especially love it for photo's and videos. Amazing coverage!!

Clean Makeup Brushes Super Fast

If you use makeup brushes to apply your makeup. You know that the process of cleaning your brushes can take hours. I usually wash my brushes with soap, water and a bit of olive oil. I usually have to let them sit and dry over night. Well, I discovered this product through a You Tube video. It cleans all types of brushes. The best part of this cleaning solution is it only takes 15 minutes to dry. Love this, a little bit goes a long way. Example, this particular bottle I've had for about 1 year. It's fantastic. It's called "Cinema Secrets" professional brush cleaner. I got it on-line. I don't use this every day, but I do use it once a week.

For some women it is complicated to find clothes that compliment your particular body type. I found this chart on the internet that may help. If you follow the chart for the clothes that best suits your shape. You'll never purchase another garment that doesn't fit your body shape again. Best Contouring Brushes Ever

I have tried many brushes for contouring my face. I love to add shadow and dimension to my face "angles" where I need them. The best brushes I have tried to do this technique are two Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target. The white handle makeup brush bristles are very dense. Prefect for blending seamlessly. The multi-colored handle makeup brush has the same bristles, but long and thin. Prefect for a precise contour. I use this brush for my nose.

I have light-medium skin tone. Undertone is neutral, I can wear both yellow and pink undertone makeup. I prefer to wear yellow undertones. Haves some pictures of my best peach and coral blushes.
